At a meeting of the French Medical Academy a report was made by Professor de Lapersource of a very strange case. The patient suffered a long time from a variety of eye disturbances and finally became blind. Through operative methods, the cause was found. Four big, fully developed molars had pushed their roots into the orbit of the eyes and had agitated and displaced the eyeball. After removing the teeth, all disturbances ceased and the patient regained his eyesight.
