(Received Sept 14, at 5.5 p.m.) The Helsingfors correspondent of The Times states that during the trial of Erzinkian, an ex-Soviet commercial representative, on a charge of issuing spurious bills, accused’s counsel produced a remarkable declaration signed by eight ex-Soviet representatives abroad, including Besadovsky and Dmitrievsky, stating in favour of Erzinkian that the Soviet legations and trade - delegations have secret chancelleries controlled by the Cheka, where all secret accounts are kept and are non-admissable to other officials. Dmitrievsky, an ex-councillor at the Soviet Legation at Stockholm, states; “The Cheka annually spends 600,000 marks for secret purposes in Finland, The Communist International spends several -millions. The Cheka is paying special attentien to Finland because it considers it one of the countries, ’Which will shortly be ripe for revolution, "The Soviet Legations at Berlin and Stockholm have purchased arms for Finnish Communists.”
