Arthur George Salisbury was charged at East Ham with being a stowaway .on the steamer Norfolk from Wellington. Accused said that he had been engaged in film work in Sydney till the, talkies displaced him, and then he was destitute! He secured a promise of employment in England. Accused was fined £2, the magistrate saying he thought Salisbury was a trier.
