The coastal tanker Faua arrived at Dunedin on Saturday morning from Wellington, and was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge hulk motor spirit knd fuel oil. The motor ship Clydebank left Port Chalmers on Friday afternoon for Wanganui and Sydney to put out the remainder of her cargo of sulphur from Galveston. The Walmarlno sailed on Saturday evening for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for 'Wellington and Auckland, The Walkoualtl is due at Lyttelton on Thursday from Sydney, via Wellington. She will discharge coal and general cargo. > The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motorship Fort Alma arrived at Auckland on Saturday from London. The vessel has 4000 tons of general merchandise for Auckland and a further quantity for discharge at Wellington and Napier. The Union Company's cargo steamer Waltemata arrived at Auckland last Tuesday from Newcastle. The crew have been paid off and the vessel will be laid up until she Is again required for the Pacific coast service early In September. The Liverpool motor tanker Benedick arrived at Auckland last Friday from Singapore. The vessel Is under charter to the Shell Company and her bulk oil cargo Is for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Tongarlro, which Is scheduled to leave Liverpool on September 27, ‘will discharge at Bluff, as well as Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Union Company advises that the Walruna left Ocean Falls on August 5 for San Francisco and Los Angeles, to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sidney. She is to clear Los Angeles on August 19.

ItANGITIKI DUE ON FRIDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the motor liner Rangltlkl, from London arid Southampton, via Wellington and Lyttelton, Is due at Fort Chalmers about Friday to discharge a large quantity of general cargo. She will proceed later to Bluff to complete discharge.

HENZADA PROM NEW YORK. Several days later than schedule, the steamer Henzada arrived at Auckland on Saturday morning from Now York. The vessel was delayed by heavy weather.. The Henzada, which Is under charter to the Commonwenltn and Dominion Line, has American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru and Dunedin. She Is due at tin? pert about August 19.

NABBADA LEAVES CALCUTTA. Cabled advice has been received that Hie Union Company's Narbada left Calcutta on August 2 for Penang, Singapore and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru Dunedin and Bluff. She Is due' at Auckland about September 2.

TAINUI AT SOUTHAMPTON. Cabled advice has been received that the Shaw, Savlll liner Talnul arrived at Southampton on August 4. She left Auckland on June 28 for Southampton and London, via tho Panama canal. •

MAHANA AT LONDON. Cabled news baa been received that the Shaw, Savlll steamer Slahana arrived at London on August 5. She cleared Auckland on June 25 for Halifax and London, via the Panama canal.

SOMERSET LEAVES CARACAS BAY. Cabled news has been received by the Federal Company that the Somerset, en route from Liverpool, left Caracas Bay on August 2 for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff,' She la due at Auckland on August 26,

SULPHUR FROM GALVESTON. The Norwegian motor . ship Boloy, 4402 tons, has been fixed to load sulphur at Galveston tor Australian and New Zealand ports.

PORT BOWEN FROM LIVERPOOL. An arrival at Dunedin yesterday was the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen, from Glasgow and Liverpool, via Colon, Panama, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge the remainder of her Home cargo. The vessel sailed from Liverpool on June 21. She reached Colon on July S and cleared Balboa the same day. Generally fair weather prevailed except during the last five .days of the voyage, when south-west gales and high seas were encountered. In spite of. the stormy conditions delaying her arrival by about 14 hours she arrived a day ahead of schedule. The average speed across the . Atlantic was ■ 14.3 knots and the' average speed from Liverpool to Auckland was 14.1 knots. Captain O. W. Hearn Is In command and he has associated with him the following officers: — Chief, Mr A. £.
