WIRELESS APPARATUS
MANUFACTURE IN AUSTRALIA. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, June 15. Mr Edwards, secretary to the Chamber. of Manufacturers, stated that the wireless apparatus which had been or* dered abroad by the Postmaster-general’s Department could be made in Australia. Local companies had not been given a chance to quote for the orders, which involve an amount of about £200,000. Australia made apparatus for New Zealand in competition with the rest of the world.
