TO TRAIN AT MOUNT COOK. The British footballers are going to take the Rugby spirit to Mount Cook. There, "thousands of feet above worry level," in the clear, keen, alpine atmosphere, they will train prior to the second test. Undoubtedly the selecting of Mount Cook will enhance the Britishers’ chance of success. The Hermitage being world-re-nowned for its scenic wonders and healthful air will be long remembered by every member of the team, and wnt undoubtedly prove a fine advertisement for the Dominion. Later ’’n the tour the visitors will also visit Chateau Tongariro, which is under the management of the Mount Cook Tourist Company, who arc also the proprietors of the White Star Hotel, Queenstown, and Brent’s Hotel, Rotorua. —Adv t.
