REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. {Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, May 21. The weather was showery at Auckland to-day and the wind was light from the south-west. The barometer has fallen to SO.OOin. WELLINGTON. May 21." Opening this morning with a blue sky and a northerly wind, the day in Wellington closed with a complete change of the wind to the south and heavy showers, commencing at 7 p.m. The weather is cold. CHRISTCHURCH, May 21. The weather to-day was variable. The morning was fine and warm with a light breeze from the north-west, but early in the afternoon the wind whipped round to the south-west and the temperature dropped from 63 to 47. The sky became overcast, and at 5,45 heavy rain set in and continues. The barometer is rising after a rapid fall, and now reads 29.75 in.
