DUNEDIN CITY CORPORATION. URGENT APPEAL to all Electricity Consumers. It is estimated that the rate at which stored water is being used at Waipori will empty the dam in 14 DAYS. If the consumption of water can be reduced by half, it will last twice as long and give a greater chance of rain before the, dam is empty. This can only be done by each consumer economising in every possible way. Economy in the use of lighting will help. Economy in use of radiators, water heaters, and ranges will help much more. Economy in the use of motors will help most of all. Voluntary restrictions may be inconvenient; compulsory restrictions will be real, hardship. Are we all helping to prevent this hardship? G. A. LEWIN, Dunedin, May 12, 1930. Town Clerk.
