SENSATION IN SYDNEY

BUSINESS MEN ARRESTED. ASSURANCE COMPANY MANAGERS. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 25. (Received April 25, at 5.5 p.m.) A dramatic raid by detectives on the Australian Federal Life and General Assurance Company was followed by the arrest of three well-known city business men. Books and documents belonging to the company were seized and further arrests are expected. The amount involved is said to be £500,000 Vivian Partridge, Ralph Paul, and Jainoa Coolirano were charged liy warrant with conspiring to cheat and defraud the shareholders and policy holders in the company. Bail was allowed in each case in the amount of £SOO.
