The proceeds of the garden party held at Wanaka, together with the amounts previously acknowledged, make the tital contributions from that district £52 5s 7d. DONATIONS FROM DRUIDS. Mr W. B. Steel, secretary of the Otago and Southland Grand Lodge of the United Ancient Order of Druids in forwarding to Dr North a donation of £5 5s from his Board of Management, states that he lias been instructed to notify each of the branches in Otago and Southland, granting permission for the consideration of the appeal and submitting it for their most favourable consideration. “Wo trust,” Mr Steel adds, “ that the response will be in keeping with the worthiness of the object.” Wo shall bo pleased to receive and to acknowledge contributions to this fund that may be sent to us.
