TRAINS BADLY DAMAGED
COLLISION IN TASMANIA. THE GREW S JUMP CLEAR. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyrignt.) HOBART, April 10. A head-on collision between a goods and a passenger train occurred between Wyena and Gilconda. Only one man was injured. Both trains were severely damaged. No explanation is available as to how the two trains were allowed to meet on a single line. The respective crews saw that a crash was inevitable and jumped clear.
