FORESTERS. ' Court Pride of the Leith held its usual fortnightly meeting on Wednesday last when there was a very good attendance oi members, C.R. Bro. H. Brown m the chair. A considerable amount oh business was transacted, and greetings and gpou wishes received from n member in iort Arelaide. Congratulations were extended to Bro. F. Brough on his selection to be one of the New Zealand rowing crew, and also on his recent marriage. IJie caee ot a' member in distress was considered and relief granted. Craig, on behalf of Court Molyneux, A discussion took place on the business papei for the forthcoming annual meeting ot tne district, and the delegates were instructed accordingly. Two new members were admitted, and arrangements made to entertain the older members at next meeting. The fortnightly meeting of Court Bruce was held on Monday last, when C-R. Bro, Bedford presided over a good attendance of members. A motion of sympathy was passed with a brother and his family m their bereavement, members standing in silence. A good deal of correspondence was dealt with, including a paper by district Secretary Bro. J. K. Macfic, on “Friendly Society Imance." Bro. VV. A. Wilson reported that a syllabus for the winter was being prepared and would be submitted for approval at the next meetinrr Owing to the next meeting falling on’Easter Monday, it was decided to meet on the following Wednesday. Chave, C.R., presided over a large attendance. Eight new members were admitted. and the membership is now 30,' and showed an advance of 100 per cent, since the opening last December. No, 255. 1.0.G.T., held its weekly meeting in (Hood Templar Hall, Princes street, last Wednesday. G.T. Bro. C. Williamsi presided over a fair attendance of members, including visitors from the Rescue and Hope of Cavershnm Lodges, Correspondence was received from 0.8, Bro. Price. One candidate was initiated and welcomed. Reports were given on sick members, and a vote of condolence was passed with Bro. D. C. Cameron in the loss of his sister. After a discussion of matters to bo brought forward at grand lodge session, the lodge passed a vote of welcome to visitors, to which Bro. Stanley Hope, of Caverehnm, No. 128, and Bro. Churchill (Roselle, No. 105) suitably responded. The Silver Star Juvenile Temple, No. 0, met previous to the adult lodge.
