TEXTILE WORKERS

WAGES IN YORKSHIRE. THE PROPOSED REDUCTIONS. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON,' March 31. (Received March 31, at 10 p.m.) A week-end meeting of textile workers in Yorkshire strengthened the belief *of the trade union executives that they will cease work when the cuts take effect on April 12. Representatives of the General Council of the Trade Union Congress are visiting Bradford and they hope that the Ministry of Labour will intervene to avert a prolonged stoppage, but at present there are no indications of either side giving way. Prayers for a wise and just settlement were offered in all Yorkshire Anglican Free Churches on Sunday.
