DONOVAN AND SARRON. MAY MEET IX DUNEDIN. (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 31. Mr Aldridge, secretary of the New Zealand Boxing Council, has received overtures from the Otago and Auckland both offering to stage • match between Donovan and Sarron. Xhe former has promised to box in Dunedin. Sarron intends to have his left hand, which has been giving him trouble ever since his contest with Leckie at Welling, ton, medically examined, and if an adverse verdict is given he will leave immediately on his return to .the United States. If the medical opinion declare* the hand fit to stand another contest, Sarron will .be quite willing to meet Donovan again. . . He does not put his injured hand forward as an excuse for his defeat on Sii(> urdav, but it is known that the doctor'* order after hii» fight with Leckie was that he was not to use the left hand again for at least three months.
