DR. ECKENER HONOURED. A SPECIAL GOLD MEDAL. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, Marcli 28. (Received March 28, at 10 p.m.) Dr Eckener was presented with the National Geographical Society’s special gold medal for his Zeppelin world flight. Only 10 other men have received the award during the last 42 years. Colonel Lindbergh and Rear-admiral Byrd being included in the list.
