. Royal. Oak Lodge held its usual meeting in the lodgeroom, Caversham, A.D. Bro. Steele presiding. Invitations from ■All -Nations and West Harbour Lodges were accepted, the lodge to attend officially on each occasion. Bros. Robertson, Logie, and Dickinson were re-elected delegates to the U.F.S. Dispensary. After the sick pay had been passed for payment, the lodge adjourned for the installation of Bro. D. Clarke, as D.P. of No. 2 district. Grand president Bro. Thompson, accompanied by the Grand Lodge officers and Board of Management, D.P. of Nos. I. and 2 districts, and representatives of sister lodges, were admitted and warmly welcomed by the Arch Druid. The proceedings opened with the singing of the National Anthem, after which the A.D. called on D.P. Bro. Walsh to install Bro, V-lnvkn lido tllC olhco of district president. Bro. Walsh gave an excellent rendering of the installation charge, and congratulated Bro. Clarke on attaining the office of district president. Bro. Clarke, in returning thanks, thanked one and all for their attendance, and said that he fully realised the duties connected with the office of IJ.P. and hoped that he would live up to the ideals of Druidism, as his predecessors, had done. P.G.G. Bro. Reed presented Bro. Walsh with a P.D.P. collar in recognition of services rendered, Bro. Walsh briefly replying. An appropriate toast was honoured, and several musical items were rendered at intervals during the evening, A good attendance of members and visitors greeted A.D. Bro. Clinch when he opened the fortnightly meeting of Bay Bodge on Tuesday last. One candidate was proposed for membership, and three will be initiated next lodge night. A.D. Bro. J. Clinch was elected unopposed to the position of delegate to the Dispensary Board. The usual donation to the chapter was granted. At this stage A.D, Bro Logie, accompanied by the officers and members of Mistletoe Lodge, were adnutted and Riven a hearty welcome. The business was quickly dealt ■with, and the lodge adjourned for the purpose of holding a ladies’ night. A very pleasant evening was spent in playing progressive euchre.
