RETIREMENT FROM CHARGE. ACCORDED FAREWELL SOCIAL. , The Rev. TV._ Trotter, after serving for if yeai’s as minister of the Mornington Presbyterian Church, retired on Sunday last owing to ill-health, and intends to reside in future at St, Leonards. Last night he was accorded a farewell social by his congregation, the Rev. Benton, who spoke on behalf of the elders, stated that Mr Trotter was a man of exceptional ability and everv ounce of that ability had been spent ? n , K°P d work. The gift which they had given him spoke of their generosity. He paid a tribute to the work done by his wife. He thought that he had been wL in lesigning.
