HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
The bright and entertaining fare provided by Jim Gerald and bis company at His Majesty’s Theatre continues to attract large audiences, whose reception of the catchy review, “ Barebacks,” has never failed to be enthusiastic. “ Barebacks,” which will receive its last presentation in Dunedin to-night, is an admirable blend of happy melodies, clever comedy, and catchy dancing, Jim Gerald, assuming the principal comedy role, providing a fund of humour and witticisms that keeps the show swinging along merrily. The revue section of the production is introduced by a number of excellent vaudeville turns, which serves as an admirable prologue to the main portion of the entertainment. “OH, MUM.” Those who patronise His Majesty’s Theatre with a view to getting an evenings bright entertainment certainly do not go away disappointed, for as long as Jim Gerald and his happy company are holding the stage results are assured. The company will present a change of programme to-morrow, when Oh, _ Mum, a highly amusing comedy revue, will be initially staged in Dunedin Critics elsewhere have been unanimous p.their approval of this revue, which contains fresh humour, new and catchy dhnee steps, and melodious _ songs. The first naif of the new session will consist of snappy vaudeville ideas.”
