Eventually Canada will have a system qf unemployment insurance according to a statement by the Prime Minister (Mr Mackenzie King) in the course of an address to-day in reply to a deputation from Western Canada, which sought Federal aid to municipalities in the provinces on unemployment relief. This was the only constructive way to deal wifh unemployment, and he hoped it would soon be possible to work out a plan for seasonal relief measures. There would be no permanent assistance.
