' The Bluff oyster fleet Is now ready for the opening' day of the season, which Is tomorrow. • The Walpiata is timed to leave Auckland today for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due here about next Wednesday. Walpahl was to leave Wellington yesterday for Plcton and Dunedin. She is due here on - Sunday and loads out on Monday for • Napier and Gisborne, via ports. ' . The Karetu ,1s timed to leave Sydney on March 6 for Dunedin' direct. From here she will go to Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru and Bluff. The Holmdale is due to arrive here this morning , from Wanganui, via ports. The Wingatul was expected to leave Timaru last night to load here for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Storm is expected here to-day from the' north and should load out again to-morrow for Wanganui, via ports. The Gabrlella sailed yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton and Wellington to continue discharge. The Kahlka left Dunedin yesterday for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Gale sailed early last evening for Wanganui, via ports. PORT SYDNEY LEAVES PANAMA. The Port Sydney, which'sailed* from Napier on February 1 for London, left Panama last Sunday. MATABOA AT SOUTHAMPTON. . The Mataroa, which sailed from Wellington on January 20 for Southampton and London, via Panama, arrived at Southampton last Saturday evening. PORT CAMPBELL AND MAHIA. News has come to hand of the arrival of the Port Camfabell and the Mahla at London. The former vessel left Wellington on January 1G and the latter sailed from Lyttelton the same day, both going via Panama. They were carrying large consignments of wool and much interest was being evinced In- the question of which vessel would reach the destination first. The Pott Campbell reached London on February, 22, and the Mahla on February 25. PORT NAPIEK LOADING. The Commonwealth and ’ Dominion Line steamer Port Napier. Is reported to have arrived at New York from England on February 24. The vessel Is loading at New York for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is to sail to-morrow. ■- ~ . \ JUNE WITH PHOSPHATES. The Norwegian steamer June berthed at Port Chalmers last might to discharge 4000 ' tons of phosphates. The vessel, after a delay of two months watting for favourable easterly weather for loading, eventually obtained her cargo at Nauru and sailed on the 3rd Inst, for Auckland, experiencing rainy weather and a head swell most of the way. Sho reached Auckland on the 151h,' put out part cargo ami ■■ sailed on the 19th for Lyttelton, where a quantity of phosphates was' discharged. After discharging . the balance of her cargo here the June will bunker at Westport and then go to Auckland to load for the Islands.
