WORLD’S AIR RECORDS
OFFICIALLY RECOGNISED. GERMANY LEADS THE WAT. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, February 24. (Received Feb. 25, at 11 p.m.) The International Aeronautical Federation has officially recognised 85 world’s air records, of which Germany holds 33, France 22, the United States 17, England 8, Switzerland 3, and Italy and Czechoslovakia 1 each. Despite England’s small total, it includes three of the most .important for speed seaplanes over varying distances.
