PRINCESS’S ENGAGEMENT

Though Count Hochberg refuse* turther to comment on the alleged rupture of _ his engagement to the Rumanian Princess lleana, it is authoritatively stated that the Princess has just telegraphed to Count Hochberg urging him to hasten and join her at Cairo, and not to take any notice of the rumours. Princess lleana says that the wedding will take place at Bucharest on Auril 27. 1 Count Hochberg’s friends assert that the hostile rumours emanate from certain Rumanian members of the Cabinet, who wish Princess Eleana marry an exalted German prince.
