Iho autumn show of the Dunedin .Horticultural Society promises to be the most successful of the series yet held. Large entries have been received, in the cutllower sections and m decorative tables, whilst in. the sweet pen and gladioli scctious the competition will be as keen as that ot last year. A new competition has been inaugurated at this show for th<* girls of secondary schools, for which four tables have been entered. Non-com petitive exhibits should prove to be interesting. am) space has been reserved for six of these. Hie show will be open from 1 o clock to-day, uud will be continued to-inovrow.
