PERISHABLE CARGO SUFFERS. (Per United Press Association.). AUCKLAND, February 21. - A suggestion that to avoid economic loss and inconvenience -waterside workers’ stop-work meetings should be held in the dinner hour is to be conveyed from the Chamber of Commerce to the authorities competent to deal with the matter. The council of the chamber discussed the question at a meeting yesterday, and made this decision. Members pointed out that the holding of meetings in the morning often resulted in interfering with the distribution of perishable cargo.
