A very satisfactory attendance of members greeted the A.D. at the meeting of Otago Lodge on Monday. After routine business had been transacted, the committee which had been appointed to entry out the forthcoming jubilee of the lodge delivered an interim report, and theic efforts met with the hearty appreciation of those present. If was regretted that an invitation from Linden Lodge had to be declined owing to the Shortness of the notice received. The delegate to the Picnic Committee announced that the date of the nicnic- had been postponed until March 8 so as not to .clash with the Band Contest Quickstep Competition, n i? Birthday 'greetings were acknowledged by several recipients, and the meeting then adjourned to indulge in a shooting competition with Pride of Mornington Lodge. After a dose contest,, Otago Lodge emerged as winners.

Henderson were appointed to represent the lodge at a social evening in Mistletoe Lodge. The secretary of (lood Intent Lodge wrote accepting the challenge for the euchre shield. The grand societary advised the lodge regarding the alteration of the picnic date, and also the now passwords. One proposition was handed in for membership, Bfo. T. reported that the church parade would be held on February 23, and the secretary was instructed to invite sister lodges Of No. 2 District. “ Ten Minutes in the A.D. Several questions relating to members and the working of the order were asked, and with the assistance of the rule book, duly answered, J.P.A. Bro. Bozctt and Bro. During the evening four propositions were handed in. and one candidate was-initiated on behalf of Royal Oak Lodge. The bards’ report was received, and sick pay amounting to fib 16s 8d was passed for payment. An invitation from Royal Oak Lodge to attend a church parade on Sunday, February 23, was received and accepted, the members deciding to leave from Wilkie road and proceed to the Caversham Baptist Church. D.P. Bro. Welsh attended in his official capacity, and was received in true Druidic fashion. The syllabus item was carried out, the members of Bay and Royal Oak Lodges attending to participate in a shooting competition. The competition proved to be very interesting, and after a' close run Bay Lodge proved the winners by three points. The highest individual score was made by Bro. D. A. Kilgour, of Enterprise Lodge. After the competition the lodge closed.
