CORNWELL CUP CONTEST.
■■■■ CREWS ARRIVING. ■Considerable interest is being taken in the Cornwell Cup contest, which wjll commence on Otago Harbour on Tuesday. The Lyttelton crew, and also crews from Auckland, Manukau, and Wellington, reached Dunedin yesterday. The boys were met at the railway station by members of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association, and were welcomed by Mr W. O, Martin (vice-president of the association) . All the visiting crews are being billeted by local yachtsmen. The crew representing the Christchurch Jailing Club will arrive here early on Monday morning. ‘ The boats secured from Lyttelton are housed at the boat harbour. They are in first-class order, and will be rigged to-day, as some of tbe visiting crews will compete in the 12ft 6in and under yacht race at the Ravensbourne regatta this afternoon.
Messrs J. Moffat' (Wellington delegate to the Dominion Yachting Conference to be hold on Monday evening), and Mr W. J. Hurnett, the delegate from the Manukau Yacht Club (Auckand) also arrived in Dunedin yesterday afternoon.
