, Special to Press Association from the Byrd Expedition by ' Russeli, Owes. ' ■ (Copyright.) BAY OF WHALES, February 12. About one-third of our men are living in tents on the other side of the bay where they stowed the equipment as it was , taken over by the ■ dog “ledges. They have a iness hall made from.dog crates. They dug down in the snow, placed the crates along the ; sides, and put the aeroplane propeller boxes over the top for beams. Over these they laced a tarpaulin. The table is made from a Ford ski upside down. The hall provides shelter off a sort, although, one days like yesterday and to-day it "is not free from draught.
