REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, February 13. The overcast conditions on Wednesday which followed over a week of perfect weather culminated to-day in a light, 'steady rain from mid-day until night. The barometer has a falling tendency. WELLINGTON, February 13. The weather to-day was overcast, but fine, with a fair north-westerly blowing. The morning was very close, but improved in the afternoon. CHRISTCHURCH, February 13. Although the sky to-day was rather cloudy, the weather was line and hot, the temperature being over SO degrees at mid-day—the second hottest day this summer. There was an almost total absence of wind, which made conditions rather sultry. The' night is fine and warm. The barometer has fallen a little, but is now steady.
