CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALE. CATALOGUE LIMITED TO 24,000 BALES. (Special to Daily Tikes.) t . GHRISTCHURCH. January 4. It ib eetimated that there will be a carry-over of between 12,000 and 13,000 bales from the second • wool sale of the Christchurch season which will be opened on Monday evening next as a reeult of the Wool Committee's limitation of the catalogue to 24,000 bales. t ßrokers' catalogues are now closed, and on Monday buyers will complete their valuations, which'they were engaged on yesterday and to-day. The condition of tho wool is much the same as usual for this eale. though a lot of the clips, as a result of the dry winter and spring, have opened up dusty and light in "condition. There is a fair amount of tender wool forward, and a good sprinkling of sunder wools. The f>roportion of medium clips is much leavier than usual. Fine wools again form the greater part of the catalogue. LONDON MARKETS. (United Press Association.) (By Eloctrlc Telegraph—Copyright.)
