(Received Doc. 20, at 11.30 p.m.) ■ "In the Sheffield Shield cricket match again Queensland, Victoria in their second innings scored 168 for five wickets (Ponsford 3, Ryder 4, a’Beckett 56. Rigg" not out 79; Thurlow two for 77. Hur° wood two for 42). Victoria won by five wickets. Thurlow’s excellent bowling created a good impression, he being talked of as a test possibility.

(Received Dec, LI, at 0.30 a.m.) New South Wales South Australia in their first innings scored 304 for two wickets (Harris 46, Hone 126, Pritchard, not out, 124, V. Richardson, not out, 37). New South Wales scored 314 in their first innings.
