A male patient at the Porirua Mental Hospital was found hanging yesterday afternoon, i The. body was immediately. cut down, but the man was dead. FOUND DEAD IN BED. (Per United Press Association.) NAPIER, December 20.. A married woman named Dorothy Emily Doreen, a nurse by occupation, was found dead in her bed at her residence at Napier by her husband when be returned from work ' last evening. The deceased had been' attended‘by a doctor for a weak heart. DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC. ■(Pm Usited Press Association,J _ ’■ NAPIER, December 20.' At the inquest -held this morning on Sarah Jane Alderman, a widow, who died after having her teeth extracted under aii anaesthetic at ■ the Napier Hospital, ~a' verdict was returned thdt the deceased died from heart failure duo to the Shock, of the operation, combined with the effect of pyrroheea. - * MANS BODY FOUND. Three boys fishing from the rocks at Scarborough, near Sumner, to-day, found the. dead body -of a tnan floating in the water.
