(United Press Association.)

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 10. (Received Dec, 19, at 5.5 p.m.) Inquiries by detectives resulted in the arrest of five men for an alleged business fraud involving £60,000. The firm with which the men are connected came into existence some months ago, trading on the 90-day bill system and buying huge quantities of merchandise from warehouses and selling at ridiculously low prices to retailers. The firm has now gone out of existence. The bills fell due at the beginning of December and according to official statements were not met. The five men have been charged with conspiracy.
