College proved victorious by an ininngs and -8 runs. Otago, continuing with six wickets down for 51 runs, was dismissed tor 35 in the first innings, and it seemed that the performance would be repeated in tlic second. However, the tail-cndcrs made a stubborn resistance, and the innings closed for 133.
