FUTURE GOVERNORS
- THE CLAIMS OF SCIENTISTS. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 4. (Received Dec. 4, at 10 p.m.) _ That the day will come when scientists should be chosen as Governors of British colonies, instead of distinguished soldiers, sailors, and politicians was forecast by Sir Richard Gregory, when presiding at a dinner of the Royal Empire Society, which was held in conjunction with the British Association for the Advancement of Science.
