DUSSELDORF MURDERER
ALL GERMANY AROUSED. REWARD FOR CAPTURE. ..(United Frees Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN,. November 14. (Received Nov. 15, at 8 p.m.) ■A conference of police chiefs at Dusseldorf rejected the theory that “ The Ripper” was a woman, and medical experts have confirmed the original l.lief that the peculiar atrociousness of the murders pointed to a man. All Germany is aroused. The Prussian Ministry of the Interior has offered a reward of £BOO for “ The Ripper ” alive or dead. With characteristic effrontery “ The Ripper .”, again sent a Tetter to a Dusseldorf newspaper, saying:'“Parwell, Dusseldorf,.you will never get me; but go on digging.” The letter was apparently posted on the Belgo-German frontier. A hat and handbag which were found by a digging party to-day have been identified as belonging to. a servant girl who has been missing since August 11. Another discovery to-day was a piece of paper. pinned to a tree near where the party was digging. It bears s great letter P, through which runs a cross and an arrow. The papr* is identical with that, used in “The Ripper’s” letters.
