(3) Its first period of trading was from August, 1928, to June 30, 1929, approximately 10 MONTHS. (4) Its proht for that period of trading was £19,847. (3) It paid a dividend of 6% on Preference Shares, AND 8% ON ORDINARY and wrote off £5,000 from preliminary expenses. (6) Cresco was loaded with 40,000 fully paid shares. (7) Notwithstanding this loading IT PAID, AND PAID HANDSOMELY. % \ Cresco Works cost approximately £232,000 for a designed capacity of 30,000 to 40,000 tons. Dominion Fertiliser Company’s Works guaranteed cost £226,200 for a designed output of 50,000 to 60,000 tons, exclusive of Mixed Fertilisers. Dominion Fertiliser Company estimated profit of £20,000 on output of 40.000 tons.
