BASKET BALL UNION,

PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The annual presentation of prizes of the Otago Basket Ball Union ■was held in ' the Training College Hall last evening. There -was a good attendance, and an enjoyable social evening wa* spent, interspersed with a •hort programme, which consisted of. Bongs, Training College students; Irish jig, Jlies J. Fox; recitation, Mr 11. WaiTen. During the evening the president (Mr W. B. Taverner) presented the prizes and trophies won during the season, as follows: A Grade Cup, Albany; A Grade banner, Albany; Walker and Hall Bowl, Albany and University. B 1 Grade Cup, Blue Triangle; B 1 Grade banner. Blue Triangle; B2 Grade Cup, Roelyn; B2 Grade banner, N.E. Valley. Cl Grade Cup, St. Stephen’s: Cl Grade banner. St. Stephen’s; C2 Grade Cup, Maori Hill; C2 Grade banner, Blue Triangle. Taverner Cup (Oamaru v. Otago B representatives) won by Otago. The music was supplied by the Training College orchestra.
