"PIGS.”
The J. C. Williamson management’s clever and versatile comedy, company gave its second presentation of the breezy little play “Pigs” in the .Princess Theatre last evening, when there was again a large attendance. Although this comedy is slender as to plot, it provides excellent entertainment throughout, and, although the cast is small, every member is an artist and. succeeds in extracting the utmost humour out of his or her patt. , Miss, Ruth Nugent in the principal feminine role proves herself to be a comedienne of exceptional merit, and she handles her part deftly and with charming naturalness. Mr Allan Bunce also presents an admirable character study, and Mr George Henry Trader and Miss Violet Fortescue u the father and mother respectively- of the family are responsible for much quiet humour, and the subsidiary parts are also capably handled. “ Pigs ” will be staged for last time this evening, and a matinee performance will be given this afternoon.
