CASE OF FORGETFULNESS
A COFFIN OVERLOOKED. DISCOVERED IN A CELLAR. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, August 18. An astonishing case of forgetfulness was revealed when' a coffin containing the mummified body of a man was discovered in tile corner of a cellar. A young Turkish student was killed in the street in Berlin in June, 1915, and the body was embalmed and ordered to Le sent home for interment. But the railway at Constantinople was at the time monopolised by the transport of troops. When facilities were restored the address was lost and the relations could not be traced. Finally the coffin was forgotten until spring cleaning revealed it.—Australian Press Association.
