Arthur Owen was charged with using premises in Hallcnstems buildings as a common gaming house Putene Takina, Cornelius Val terson and Samuel Bardwell were charge.] with frequenting the street for the'purposes of betting. Owen, who pleaded guilty was fined £IOO. and costs; Takina was fined £25; and the informations against Bardwell and Patterson were dis missed. • '
