PRESSURE OF AIR BUBBLES. THEORY HELD IX ENGLAND. LONDON, August 8. Two brothers were drowned while surf bathing at Newquay, Cornwall, where a heavy sea was running. _ The doable fatality has directed attention to what the newspapers describe as a possible peril due to the eburnod-np water losing its buoyancy through the pressure of air bubbles. A supporter of the theory says a surf bather, although a good swimmer, would ho almost powerless if caught in an eddy or overcome by a large wave in which the water was aerated.
