(Received August 6, at 5.5 p.m.) Mrs Annie Besant, whose path with Krishnamurti, the new messiah,- has not been without pitfalls, has bowed to the dramatic announcement by the young prophet at the National Congress in Holland that the Order of the Star of the East would henceforth be dissolved. Krishnamurti said: “ Religious philosophers heed ho organisation, yet its members are unwilling to face 'the truth. What, then, is the use of the organisation? ” ' ° • ■ _lVlrs Besant announces: “Considering KrishnamurtiV viewpoint) dissolution ol the order appears to be the logical step; Various trusts will carry out the pubof Krishnamurti’s writings and will bring his message to the world. TMt -menage is only partly understood at present, but it contains profound truths and will be more fully appreciated as humanity evolves.
