(Received August 4, at 5.5 p.m.) A week-old bride, Mrs Patterson, aged 25, who married a Ceasnock miner, was brutally attacked on the coalfields yesterday, her skull being fractured with a hanimer. Her assailant is alleged to he a man who had resented her marriage to a rival. , °
