A Wanganui family with four children recently visited by the honorary welfare officer (Mrs Dextor) wa s found to have been entirely without milk £6r three months iii consequence of tihe husband s inability to ; find employment, and the condition of the children evidenced the malnutrition. Since tile welfare officer's visit, however, arrangements have been made for milk supplies to be left at the home, and the condition of. the children has improved accordingly.-
