Mr Sunderland says the team is the bestbalanced side that ever left Australia. There were no brilliant players like M“.s senger, Burge, and Harold Border, but a compensation for this was the team's al l round merit. The forwards were big and fast, and the team has some experienced backs and speed on the wings. Mr Sunderland states that the Board of Control has agreed tr the proposition that a New Zealand team should be invited to Australia in'July of next year, to be reciprocated by ah Australian team’s visit here the following month. He said that the split in Queensland was a transitory phase; the game was going as strong as ever.
