The figures for the respective sections arc;— Invercargill and Bluff.—Cars, 3825,; commercial vehicles, 240. Nightcaps, Otautan, and Ohai,—Cars. 075; commercial vehicles, 40. Edendale and South Wyndham.—Cars, 540; commercial vehicles, 38. Mataura. Cars, 50f): commercial vehicles, 38. Gore, Wnikaia, and Pukeran. —Cars, 1125; commercial vehicles, 120. Riverton,—Cars, 340; commercial vehicles, 35. Dipton, Balfour and Lumsden.—Cars, 490; commercial vehicles, 25. Arrowtowc and Queenstown.— Cars, 225: commercial vehicles, 23. TuatapcreCars, 300; commercial vehicles, 25. Winton.—Cars, 759; commercial vehicles, 64. The total number of private cars for this district is thus 8570, and commercial vehicles 660, making 9230 in all.
