The Federal authorities are completing plans for the removal of the bodies of Anderson and Hitchcock, and. for sending the remains for burial in accordance with the wishes of their relatives.. This is expected to take some time owing to the lack of water and the rough nature of the country. The Air Force machines were withdrawn yesterday, as they need an overhaul. Other machines are being sent for the purpose of guiding the land party, which will be despatched to recover the bodies. A base will be established 40 miles from the spot, and the party will set out on camels. The bodies will be taken cither to Darwin or to Wyndham and placed on a steamer.
