MOTOR BODY BUILDING.
PROTECTION FOR INDUSTRY. SOUGHT. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April . 24. At a meeting of the New Zealand coach and motor body builders, in moving a resolution congratulating Sir Joseph Ward on his advent to office and urging protection for the motor tiodv building industry, Mr C. S. M'Cully drew attention to the success of safeguarding in England. The speaker said he was a protectionist. He favoured protection to provide more work and better wages. , The motion was seconded by Mr E. G, Harvie, who said the trouble was that the people of New Zealand were not loyal to New Zealand industries. The motion was carried unanimously..
