TRAM AND BUS COLLIDE. TWENTY-ONE PASSENGERS INJURED. I (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, April 24. An electric tram collided with a loaded motor bus at Prahran. The bus rolled over and the passengers were extricated only by smashing in the roof anil the rear. The driver was unhurt, bijit 21 passengers were injured. The ; tram was badly scratched. DESPERATE FIGHTING.. AFFRAY ON A KETCH. SYDNEY, April 25. (Received April 25, at 7* p.m.) A Darwin message states that fierce fighting occurred aboard aii auxiliary ketch near Victoria River, when three aboriginal members of the craw attacked Constable Kennett, a Malsiy, and a Japanese, who formed the rest of the vessel’s complement. Constable Kennett was struck with a tomahjawk while asleep, but was fortunate (enough to knock his assailant . overboard. The other aboriginals attacked ■ the Malay and the Japanese. The former was clubbed and fell into the soa, and the Japanese was slashed with si. knife. In the desperate fighting which followed both aboriginals were flung .overboard.'
