SELECTION COMMITTEE APPOINTED. OTAGO REPRESENTED. f/ (Per Dotted Press Association.) .; WELLINGTON, April 38. Eleven nominations for the Selection ' Committee for the 1928 season were re- ’ ceived by the Management Committee of ' the New Zealand Rugby Union, and an election resulted in the following being appointed: Messrs B. M'Kensle (Waira* rapa), N. M'Kenzie (Hawke’s Bay), W... Maxwell (Canterbury), G, Nicholson (Auckland), A. M*Donald (Otago) and - A. J. Geddes (Southland). The others ' nominated wore Messrs W. Watson (Nelson), R, R. Masters (Canterbury), A.V:■ A. Adams (West Coast), A. J. Griffiths A (Wellington), and W, A.- Guy (Tara-., naki). Mr E. M’Kcnzie was re-appojnted as chairman of the Selection Committee. "I congratulate you, Mr M'Kenzie,” remarked Mr S, S. Dean, “and I trust that you' will be as successful as you have been in past years.” "We shall do. our best,” said Mr M’Kenzic. It was decided that the Selection Oom- :■ raittee should retain office for 1929 and' 1930. It was agreed that nominations for the trial match on June 3 should : close on May 20.
